Exciting Announcement for the Jean Monnet Chair Seminar

We are thrilled to announce that Professor Irma Mosquera Valderrama will be the next distinguished speaker at the Jean Monnet Chair Seminar, scheduled for Thursday, 19 December, from 13:30 to 14:30, held online.

Professor Mosquera Valderrama, a renowned expert in Tax Governance, holds the Jean Monnet Chair at Leiden University and serves as the Lead Researcher for the European Research Council funded project GLOBTAXGOV. Her illustrious career includes being a Fulbright Scholar at both New York University and the University of Florida, and earning her PhD Cum Laude in 2007 at the University of Groningen.

With extensive experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow & GTTC Scientific Editor at IBFD, and serving as a Tax Expert for prestigious organizations such as UNDP, PWC, and Hamelink & Van den Tooren N.V., her areas of expertise span international tax law, comparative tax law in both developed and developing countries, exchange of information, global tax governance, and BEPS-related issues.

In addition to her role at Leiden University, Professor Mosquera Valderrama has imparted her knowledge at various esteemed institutions, including the University of Utrecht, Erasmus University, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, and the University of Groningen. She has developed and taught numerous courses on topics such as Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development Goals, International Tax Law for Multinational Enterprises, Comparative Tax Law, and EU Tax Governance.
